A very unusual take on the theme.... and that's good. There's so much Star Wars art out there, it's not worth just doing what's been done a million times before. So is this just a two-light setup, or do you have some low intensity fills going on?

I think that - anything he does - Vader is always haunted by Padme's image. It's his connection with humanity and his damnation at the same time. I wanted to show this feeling.
You're right with the light setup: no fills here. However, I'm beginning to understand how important they are.

in the first (even in the second and third) view I thought the shadows behind the glass would be a couple, having some fun together (you know...sex and so...)
I only saw Mr Vader, because he was mentioned so often in the other folks' comments.
I'm weird.
anyway, I still like the imagination of that couple more :)
but I also like the light you've thrown on the model and the surrounding. It fits both views at what's happening inside :)

Thank you. I see that your mind sometimes follows the same paths as mine.
Can't say if it's a good sign.. ;)

I see you use Daz Studio (V3?). I have used a very nice free set of shaders called "Fast Metals" found at ShareCG:

The materials always need a bit of tweaking, anyway, depending on the light sources in the scene.
Hope it helps.
